Goal: Offer visitors an engaging and exciting look at the vehicles for sale and services available to car collectors.

Solution: Solidus Design developed a new look and feel for Fox Motorsports, an information architecture that organized the products and services offered with a visitor-friendly navigation, and helped Fox Motorsports to deliver a large number of high-resolution images of the cars contained in their collection. The cars can now speak for themselves.

 

Client: Watermark Country Club

Goal: Develop a website that encourages new membership, promotes non-member services, and provides members access to club information.

Solution: Solidus Design developed a new look and feel that presents Watermark Country Club as a great value to both golf club members and restaurant visitors. The website also provides a member-only section that allows access to tee time scheduling and other account information.

 

Client: Willink Construction

Project: Logo Design

Goal: Create a memorable look for a local builder that identifies the core business and is capable of reproduction on varied media.

Solution: Solidus Design created a logo that clearly represents home construction and uses distinct lines and clear contrasts. The simplicity and clarity of the logo makes it easy to reproduce on yard signs, apparel, business cards and paperwork.

Client: Gutter Miracle

Goal: Create a unique look that identifies a product and its key features.

Solution: Solidus Design created a logo that highlights the Gutter Miracle product’s ability to perform in different seasons and with different debris. The green color choice also highlights the environmentally friendly aspects of the products construction.

Client: Carol Roeda Studio

Goal: Create an online store for a traditional retailer with an established customer base.

Solution: Solidus Design created an e-commerce website that allows Carol Roeda Studio customers to shop online anytime in a way that compliments their off-line retail experience and with a look and feel that is consistent with the retail locations. The website integrates shipping calculations, credit card processing, and customer support communication tools.

 

Client: Plantation Imports

Goal: Take a dealer showroom online for greater access by dealers.

Solution: Solidus Design used an e-commerce website to allow Plantation Imports to replicate their showroom experience for their dealers. The order processing system allows dealers to order supplies as they need them and allows Plantation Imports to keep all of their dealers updated simultaneously without travel and face-to-face presentations.

 

Client: Perrigo Annual Report

Goal: Replicate a printed annual report electronically and enhance the user experience online.

Solution: Solidus Design used Flash to recreate Perrigo’s printed annual report. The Flash website employs a multi-level navigation and a slide show carousel to allow visitors to control their experience and present vibrant images to engage the audience. The website also provides embedded links to financial reports filed with the SEC.

 

Client: Haworth MOMA Exhibit

Goal: Support and promote the exhibit at the MOMA on Haworth’s furniture design.

Solution: Solidus Design created a Flash based website that used the design elements of the MOMA exhibit to guide the look, feel, and navigation of the site. The website was launched at the opening of the exhibit and connected those present at exhibit launch with the larger Haworth corporate and customer community.

 

Client: Stokely Creek Lodge

Goal: Create a vibrant website that serves a small but committed customer base.

Solution: Solidus Design create this website using Expression Engine (a content management system) to allow the customer and staff to update and modify all of the website content without computer programming knowledge. The site provides up-to-date information on the skiing conditions, skiing and winter events and lodging opportunities.

Goal: Create a website that can staff can keep updated with menu changes and seasonal specials.

Solution: Solidus Design designed and developed this website using Expression Engine (a content management system) that allows staff to modify the menu items, included pricing, in real time.

Client: Hoekstra LTD

Project: Weekly Direct Email

Goal: Connect a targeted audience with a specific unique product offering.

Solution: Solidus Design designed a template that allows Hoekstra Ltd to update the content (pictures and text) of their weekly email using a web-based control panel. Hoekstra is able to send targeted emails, update mailing lists and view reports on viewership using our direct email service http://www.yourdirectemail.com.

Client: Grand Rapids Christian Schools

Project: E-Connections

Goal: Convert a print publication to electronic and save money.

Solution: Solidus Design developed a website and email template solution that allows the Grand Rapids Christian Schools present all of the information that they had been publishing in a quarterly newsletter online and through an email message. By converting this print publication to an online communication, the school has saved a significant amount of money in printing and postage and has been able to increase the variety and frequency of their communication.

Client: Hulst Psychology

Project: Print Materials

Goal: Provide parents with a description of services offered.

Solution: Hulst Psychology uses this brochure as an informational tool for parents who may need assessment, counseling and therapy services for their children. Often these parents are referred by a teacher or physician and this brochure is the first impression they have of Hulst Psychology. This print piece is a concise, non-threatening explanation of services offered that parents can take with them for further consideration.

Client: Christian Schools International

Project: Annual Report (print)

Goal: Inform and engage supporters.

Solution: Solidus Design redesigned and re-engineered the Christian Schools International (CSI) annual report to focus on the past year’s accomplishments and the challenges of the year to come. This forward looking approach allowed CSI to better engage the audience and encourage donors to support the future and ongoing efforts of CSI.
